You can simplify your daily anti-aging routine and still look great. Here’s how.
Cleanse in the Morning and Evening
In the morning, you have oil and dust on your face from sleeping, and at night, you need to clean off sunscreen, makeup, dirt, and pollen,” states Amy Derick, MD, a skin specialist in Barrington, Ill
. She suggests discovering a mild cleanser that matches your skin type (dry, oily, or mix). She suggests that you go easy on your skin, too.
You only have to exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week, with a fine scrub, Derick says. Prevent the scrubs with big beads that have irregular shapes that can irritate your skin
Use Vitamin A to Your Advantage
Retinoids, which are made from vitamin A, are the “the structure of any anti-aging bare-minimum routine,” Derick states.
Retinoids come in two forms:
Retinol: You can purchase items including retinol without a prescription.
Tretinoin, adapalene, and tazarotene: You require a medical professional’s prescription for these.
